Here’s a quick outfit of the day ūüôā

Dress from H&M

Jumper from New Look

If you haven’t noticed already i love layering my dresses up with jumpers but if you don’t you can always just put a cardigen over like this one from H&M

The brown boots are from H&M & make any outfit look nice as brown boots go with just about anything.

(Awkward self timer photo :’) )

I buy a lot of my clothes from H&M as they are affordable and they last for ages and never go out of style.

Morning Routine

morning routine

I don’t wear much makeup and i use different face washes/ moisturisers & toners so this is what I’m currently using at the moment as i tend to change my skin care routine as the weather changes.

I use this face wash in the morning as my other scrub has ran out and i needed a new one, it also does the job and my my skin feel fresh and clean.

I decided to try this Asda Young Skin as i needed a new moisturiser as i needed a new one and it was on offer. It does the job and is a cheap good moisturiser if you are on a budget.

I like to use the L’Oreal skin perfection on my face before i use the Tea Tree Toner as it gets rid of the dirt that your face wash didn’t get and helps with spots.

I love this Tea Tree Toner from Lush and use it every day, you can either spray it on your face or use a cotton pad to apply it.

I purchased the Real Techniques Stippling Brush and i absolutely¬†love it. It’s so soft on your face and put the right amount of product from the powder onto your face. They are pricy but if you wear makeup everyday its a good investment.

I sometimes like to fill my eyebrows in as i have sparse brows and it makes them appear a little thicker. I use the Seventeen Brows That it was around £4 from super drug when i bought it.

IMG_0884 IMG_0885

I use the Maybelline Fit Me Powder as it gives me the right amount of coverage.

I love this Red Jeans scent and use it everyday.

I’m so happy its started to get cold and feel like winter as i can finally break out the brown nail polishes! My favourite one is this Nails inc inspired by Diet Coke.

How To Ombre Your Hair At Home

photo 3

I’ve been ombreing my hair for a few years now and i love how it looks in my hair. I’ve tried so many hair dye’s and i always go back to the same one. Garnier Nutrisse Pre Lightener you can find this in boots and superdrug. I love this product and don’t find it damaging unlike other bleaches.

whats in the box

In the box you get;

The Developer Creme

Pre Lightning Creme

2 Sachets of Lightning Powder

Pair of Gloves

how to ombre

1. Brush your hair to get out any knots.

2. Choose where you want the ombre to start from ( I go from the chin)

3. Spilt your hair from your ears and clip half of it up.

4. Mix the Lightning Creme together (If you have dark hair i would use 2 sachets if you have light i would only use 1)

5. Start putting the product on the ends on your hair in little sections and rub in, work up your hair to  where you want it to start. Do this to each section on your hair.

6. After you’ve put the product all over your hair, go back through your hair and check your haven’t missed any strands of hair. Take the rest of the product and rub it into your hair and then put it in foil.

7. I leave it on for 20 minutes then check my hair, if its not as light as i want it to be i leave it on for another 20 minutes. Keep in mind the colour you see won’t be the colour it will turn out after you wash it, so if its really light it might be a couple shades darker when washed out.

8. Wash hair throughly and use the conditioner you got in the box. If you want you can use a hair mask because bleaching can damage your hair.

photo 2 photo 1

This is what my hair looked like before i dyed it, my hair is black and after 40 minutes my ends are a nice gingery blonde colour. It looks nice and i think this hair trend won’t dye out any time soon. After ombreing your hair use hair masks and spilt end treatments just to help repair your hair.

Since it’s started to get cold I’ve started to layer my outfits and also try and plan them the night before to save me time in the morning deciding what to wear.

¬†Here’s some of my favourite clothing items.

My two most worn clothing items are my H&M Coat (£45) & New Look Scarf (£15)

I love this dress from H&M ( Less then £15) as its simple and you can either dress it up or dress it down.

This jumper is so cosy and such a nice colour! This is also from H&M (£15) i love their jumpers are they are so cosy and affordable.

Lazy Day

Today is my day off & i like to spend the day relaxing and catching up on work.

Here’s just a few ways i like to relax and spend my free time.

Painting my nails.

IMG_0664 IMG_0672

I hardly ever paint my nails so when i have free time i take the opportunity to paint them. I love these Barry M nail polishes as they always turn out as bright as they are in the bottle and you only need one coat.

I love catching up on Tv shows and also Watching films.

I’m recently loving Gossip Girl & I’m obsessed with The Walking Dead.

Eating and writing blog post ideas down

IMG_0567 IMG_0679
A bowl of chicken flavoured noodles are the best comfort food! The little notepad is from Paperchase and i think the big one is from Waterstones.

I also take time to write down the assignments i have & planing my week ahead.

IMG_0676 IMG_0678

I’m trying to get more organised so this Day Planner from Paperchase helps a lot! If you are also trying to get more organised with your work and life i defiantly recommend one of these.

I also love putting on my comfiest pjs and lounging in bed

These cute Thumper pjs are from Primark (Around £10)

i like to put a face mask on because the weathers been breaking me out & this face mask helps my skin so much!
IMG_0674 IMG_7058
The Neutrogena Visibly Clear can we used as a flash wash or a mask. It leaves your face feel so smooth and helps reduce spots.

I also love reading magazines. My favourite magazines are Vouge, Seventeen & Company

How do you spend your days off?
