Clinique 3 Step Anti Blemish – Review | Guest Post

3 step

Hello!

Today’s blog is a little different as it’s KateKiwi’s sister, Ella! 🙂

I have always loved reading blogs and when my sister started her own I was so proud of her (and jealous as I’ve always wanted to start one), so when she offered for me to write one here I was so excited!

I have always wanted to tell people about my favourite skin care products as I absolutely love them and now I finally get to! So I hope you enjoy reading this as much as I’ve loved writing it.

Clinique Anti-Blemish Solutions 3-Step System

3 step 1

I got this as I was suffering from horrible blemishes. I had started my new job (which is very full on) and I broke out everyday. They were everywhere and nothing I had got rid of them. I have never had bad skin, I often got blemishes (but who doesn’t) but these were awful and nothing I had ever experienced. So I went straight to Boots. By chance I ended up at the Clinique counter complaining about my skin to the consultant and she introduced this to me. I was reluctant as I had never used Clinique before and it was a lot more expensive to what I normally buy. But I was so fed up with my blemishes that I was willing to try it. And Oh my god it was the best decision EVER! My skin has never been clearer and it has really helped to prevent blemishes as well as get rid of them! I use this day and night and it is just amazing!

3 step

I only use two pumps of the foam Anti-Blemish Solutions Cleansing Foam on damp skin and rub it in, wash it off and pat dry. Then I gently tip the Clarifying Lotion upside down and tip it onto a cotton pad and then just smooth it on my face and neck. Finally I use a small amount of the moisturiser Clearing Moisturiser and apply it again to my face and neck. It literally takes minutes and you will feel it working straight away and your skin will feel so clean and fresh!

If you suffer from constant blemishes like I did then I would definitely recommend that you try Clinique’s 3 step! There are different types to suit your skin’s need so make sure you speak to one of the consultants before you buy. It is a little pricey but it is defiantly worth it! I haven’t looked back and I always go Clinique for skin care now as it worked so well for me.

I hope this has helped some of you. I apologise about how wordy this is but I’ve been bursting to tell people for so long! I have also purchased a wide range of Clinique’s products now due to my love of it, so if any of you are interested in them and want to know what they are like before purchasing I am happy to post a blog about them (as long as KateKiwi lets me haha).

Thank you for reading!

Ella x

Tea Tree Skincare| Review

IMG_1914

Tea Tree products help ‘Cleanse and revitalise for a clearer looking complexion’.

When i was younger I always used Tea Tree products I also had the Tea Tree spot stick which helped reduce the redness of spots while helping to get clear them. These products are not harsh on the skin and don’t clog up the skin either. What I also love about these products is that they are Superdrugs own brand which are ‘Cruelty Free’ this means they were not tested on animals like some skincare products are.

Tea Tree – Foaming Facial Wash

Cleanses and purifies for a revitalised, clearer – looking complexion.’

This was my go to product when i was younger and it helped me so much with spots and to keep my skin looking clear without clogging it up. I use two pumps and then I rub the foam into my fingers then apply to my face, I then massage the product into my skin and then rinse it off with cool water. This has a strong smell to it but it will fade after a while, it also lasts for a long time so you don’t have to keep going out to repurchase it.

Using this everyday will help you get rid of spots but also help cleanse and purify your skin. It has natural tea tree oils which naturally purifying and antibacterial properties, It also has Peppermint oil which leaves the skin feeling ultra clean and refreshed.

Tea Tree – Pink Grapefruit Facial Wash

Cleanses and revitalises for a radient, clearer – looking complexion.’

This is also a good face wash to use on a daily basis as it isn’t harsh on the skin and helps to get rid of spots while also helping to give you a clearer complexion. This face wash smell so nice and fruity and the smell isn’t overpowering. You apply this to wet skin and massage into the skin, it lathers up lots so you only need to use a small amount. You then rinse off with cool water and pat your face dry with a towel, you can then apply your moisturiser.

This also has natural tea tree oils which naturally purifying and antibacterial properties and Grapefruit essential oils which help to cleanse away dirt, impurities and excess oils.

You can purchase Tea Tree products from Superdrug, they normally have an offer and they are cheap good products. The whole Tea Tree range is under ÂŁ3.50 which is a bargain for good face products that help with spots.

Have you tried any of the Tea Tree skincare range?

Thank you for reading,

Lush Haul | April 2015

Lush haul title

Hello fellow beauty bloggers and readers,
So the other day i went to Lush with my sister and we treated our selves to some Lush goodies. I picked up two bubble bars, two bath bombs and a face mask.

I bought some presents and also things for myself as i’ve been a little stressed doing my uni work and Lush baths always make me feel better.

Lush haul 1

Cosmetic Warrior – Fresh Face Mask

‘A gentle and balancing fresh face mask with antibacterial tea tree and fresh garlic working together to cleanse. Fresh green grapes clean and cool the skin, whilst free range eggs tighten its texture and antimicrobial honey leaves it soft and moisturised. Smooth a generous layer of this mask onto your face and leave for 10 to 15 minutes.’

Me and my sister wanted a face mask that would help get rid of spots. Over the past few weeks my forehead has broke out in tiny spots and everything I tried didn’t help to reduce them. This face mask caught our eye and the lovely lady at Lush told us how good this was for spots and how soft it made your skin feel, she wasn’t wrong! After using it once I noticed a huge difference with the appearance of the spots on my forehead. It contains garlic which the lady said put people off but you can’t smell it and all the natural ingredients combined really help with spots. You keep this in the fridge and you get around 6 face masks out of it.

This face mask helps cool, soothe and reduce the appearance and also gets rid of spots and has helped calm my skin and works wonders to help get rid of spots. Also because all the ingredients are natural it isn’t irritating or damaging to the skin.

Cosemtic Warrior is ÂŁ6.50 for a 75ml pot. You can pick it up in stores or find it here.

Carrying on the cheeriness into todays post I’m deeelighted to feature our second blogger of the week on Behind The Blog. Beauty Items

L’Oreal Elvive – Triple Resist
I bought this shampoo a couple of weeks ago, it’s made my hair feel so much nicer after only a few washes. I picked this up as it strengthens hair and as I have dyed my hair a lot in the past couple weeks I thought my hair needed a bit of TLC.

No7 Soft & Soothed – Gentle Toner
I got this for my birthday in February and have been using it everyday. I love how it hydrates my skin and leaves it feeling so soft.

Liz Earle – Cleanse & Polish
I also got this for my birthday and I’ve never loved a face product more than this. Since the first time I have used it, it has left my skin feeling in better condition and left it also looking more healthy. I’m so please with this product and I love using it every day as part of my morning routine.

Joules – Body Scrub
I’ve recently got back into body scrubs and I’ve been using them every time I shower before applying my moisturising and bio oil. I have stretch marks on my legs and they didn’t seem to be fading no matter what I put on them. I started using body scrub and then applying bio oil and moisturiser and I feel like it’s helped them fade a little better. If you have any tips on fading stretch marks please comment below as I would love to try something new to help them fade.

No7 Beautiful Skin – Radiance Exfoliator
I only use a face exfoliator a couple of times a week as it can dry my skin out, but when I exfoliate my skin i love using this NO7 one as it isn’t too harsh on my skin and it leaves it feeling smooth and looking a little brighter.

No7 Beautiful Skin – Pore Vacuum Mask
I love this pore mask so much! I apply it to my forehead and nose once a week and it helps to unclog pores and also reduce the size of them.
