March Favourites |2015

Beauty Items

L’Oreal Elvive – Triple Resist
I bought this shampoo a couple of weeks ago, it’s made my hair feel so much nicer after only a few washes. I picked this up as it strengthens hair and as I have dyed my hair a lot in the past couple weeks I thought my hair needed a bit of TLC.

No7 Soft & Soothed – Gentle Toner
I got this for my birthday in February and have been using it everyday. I love how it hydrates my skin and leaves it feeling so soft.

Liz Earle – Cleanse & Polish
I also got this for my birthday and I’ve never loved a face product more than this. Since the first time I have used it, it has left my skin feeling in better condition and left it also looking more healthy. I’m so please with this product and I love using it every day as part of my morning routine.

Joules – Body Scrub
I’ve recently got back into body scrubs and I’ve been using them every time I shower before applying my moisturising and bio oil. I have stretch marks on my legs and they didn’t seem to be fading no matter what I put on them. I started using body scrub and then applying bio oil and moisturiser and I feel like it’s helped them fade a little better. If you have any tips on fading stretch marks please comment below as I would love to try something new to help them fade.

No7 Beautiful Skin – Radiance Exfoliator
I only use a face exfoliator a couple of times a week as it can dry my skin out, but when I exfoliate my skin i love using this NO7 one as it isn’t too harsh on my skin and it leaves it feeling smooth and looking a little brighter.

No7 Beautiful Skin – Pore Vacuum Mask
I love this pore mask so much! I apply it to my forehead and nose once a week and it helps to unclog pores and also reduce the size of them.

Non Beauty Items

Love Tanya – Tanya Burr
I recently started reading Tanya Burr’s book and I love it! I love the pictures in the book, the chapters and the way it has been written! I also can’t wait to make the food she mentions in her book.

The Bunker Diaries – Kevin Brooks
I’ve recently started reading this book and I’m so gripped! It’s about a boy who is kidnapped and finds himself stuck in a bunker, the story is so gripping and I can’t put it down because I want to know if he gets out!

K.Flay – Life as a Dog
I saw K.flay as a support act when i went to see Lights, when I got back home i bought her album off iTunes and ever since its been on repeat! She has also replied back to me a couple of times on twitter and she’s so lovely and her songs are so addictive!

Bates Motel
I’ve started watching season two of Bates Motel and I’m hooked again! I’ve been watching it in my free time and even though he creeps me out i love Norman and his story line.

This is a YouTube channel of a friend of mine from university, he plays games and also does little skits & Vlogs. He’s currently playing Life Is Strange which is an amazing game that is about a girl called Max, if you are like me and love watching walk-throughs of games on YouTube subscribe to his channel as you won’t be disappointed.

  1. Hi Kate
I found your blog via confettiandcurves, it is awesome.
A wee question. What would recommend for my skin. I am nearly 11 and starting to get just a few wee spots and dry skin. Not really sure what I can use. Thanks so much for any help

    • Hi Ari thank you, I’m happy that you like my blog 🙂 I would recommend because you’re young you should not clog up your skin with products as it might make it worse. So I would recommend the Tea Tree products from Superdrug, I used them so much when I was around your age and they worked wonders for spots. Also they don’t clog up your skin and they are not too harsh on the skin. I will happily do a blog post on them if you like? Hope this helps, Katie x

  2. That would be amazing Katie, thank you. I will go down to Superdrug tomorrow to get them. My mum and dad have good skin so hopefully I will be like them but it never to early to learn how to look after your skin. Xx
