Revlon Nearly Naked Powder & Colorstay Concealer | Review

These two Revlon products are not the newest but I got my hands on them a few months ago.
I really liked them so I thought I’d do a little review on them incase anyone else had their eyes on them and wanted to know what they are like.

I have had these two products for around 3 months now and have been testing them out so I can write an honest review on them.

Revlon Nearly Naked | Pressed Powder

‘Blends seamlessly with a lightweight feel
Evens skin tone
Provides a shine free, natural coverage’

I picked up this powder in the shade ‘010 Fair’ and I think it is a perfect colour match for my skin tone.
They don’t really have a huge colour section I think they only have around 4 shades which isn’t the best selection.
Needless to say the colour I picked up matches me perfect so I can’t complain.

This powder blends into my skin wonderfully and gives the appearance that I am not actually wearing any powder.
It is quick and easy to blend in and it is great if you are in a rush!

I apply this with my Real Techniques Buffing Brush as it helps blend the powder into my skin and gives me an even coverage and an even skin tone.

The Packaging

I like the white plastic packaging as it looks more expensive than it is.
It has a mirror on the inside which is great as you can use it while applying the product.
The two things I dislike are how long the product is as you can’t really throw it into your bag.
I prefer the circle pressed powder packaging.
The other thing I dislike is the sponge applicator you get with it as it falls out when you open the product and also gets really mucky if use it and you can’t really clean it so I threw mine away.

I think this powder ticks all the boxes on what it says it will do.
I use this most days and I think it is a good affordable powder.

This product is £7.99 and you can pick this up online here. Or find it in Boots or Superdrug.

Revlon Colorstay | Concealer

‘Time release technology balances imperfections for a continuously flawless look for up to 24 hours.
Conceales imperfections, blemishes and dark circles.

How To Use

Dab product over imperfections, blemishes and dark circles.
Pat with your finger so that the product blends seemlessly with your foundation’
I decided to pick up this concealer to go with the powder. I got the shade ’02 Light’.
Unlike the powder colour selection they have 5 shades, The shade I got matches my skin tone.
This product blends in perfectly and does not look like you have any concealer on.
It brightens under my eyes and also helps to conceal the dark circles under my eyes.
A lot of people rave about the Collection concealer but I personally prefer this one.
I have worn this on days where I have been out doing errands or just simply sitting inside watching TV and writing blog posts, and it stays on for the full day without slowly going down my face or creasing.

The Packaging

The concealer comes in this plastic packaging which is hard and does not stain and get dirty like some other concealers I own. The applicator is good and the lid fits tightly on without loosing up on its own.

I don’t have anything negative to say about this product which must mean it also ticks all the boxes for me.

This product is £6.99 and you can find it online here. You can also find this in Boots and Superdrug.

Boots currently have a 2 for £15 offer on Revlon items.
