I went to boot’s a couple of weeks ago and treated myself to some bit’s for my birthday. I picked up the No7 Soft & Soothed – Gentle Toner and the No7 Beautiful Skin – Pore Vacuum Mask
I’ve tried many foundations and i could never find one that lasted the whole day, didn’t look greasy or too powdery on my skin and actually matched my skin tone.
I’ve finally found a foundation that tick’s all my boxes when it comes to the right foundation!
Boot’s website tells you a little about this product
Radiance boosting for tired, stressed skin. Create radiant, luminous skin with this revitalising foundation from No7. Glides on to skin for coverage that brightens the complexion, reducing the appearance of imperfections and signs of fatigue.
The silky moisturising formula has light reflecting particles that boost your skin’s appearance, making it look luminous and naturally flawless. Energising Ginger helps stimulate tired looking skin whilst our enriching vitamin complex helps boost skins vitality.
Soft violet pearls give dull, stressed out skin a healthy looking glow for perfectly natural finish.
This foundation is a miracle in a bottle! I first came across this when my sister’s friend used it and she said it looked like she was not wearing any foundation and her skin looked amazing, my sister got matched up to the shade ‘Calico’ and when the women at the counter applied it to her face i couldn’t even tell she had anything on! It blends into the skin perfectly and does not look cakey (nobody want’s their foundation to look cakey.) When i saw it on my sister i knew i had to own this foundation for myself!
The packaging for this product looks amazing and even though it’s simple its eye-catching and does not look cheap. I only need one pump to cover my face and its a medium coverage so you can build it up. I apply this to my skin with the Real Techniques – Stippling Brush and it’s easy to apply and sinks into your face and leaves you with even and nice looking skin. It stays on your skin all day and gives you the right coverage without looking caked in foundation.
What i love about this foundation is it’s a radiance boost for tired or stressed skin, everyone has those days where they look like rubbish and this is the perfect pick me up. It gives you the brightness and even skin tone but without looking like you’ve put a layer of foundation on.
The price is £12.50 but it has a variety of shades and you can go to the No7 counter and they will match up with the little machine they have for free and help you pick out the right shade.
I can’t hype this product up enough as it tick’s all the boxes to the perfect foundation, this will defiantly be my new daily foundation and as you i only need one pump to do my entire face it will last for a while before i need to go repurchase it. If your unsure about this product check it out on the boot’s website as it has everything you need to know on there and also people’s reviews.
What is your favourite daily foundation?
Thank you for reading,
After having a bad week or finishing all your assignments you just want to sit back and relax and have some ‘me time’.
Heres a few things that i do to help me relax;
First thing i do is get into some comfy clothing. I either opt for pjs or joggers and a slouchy top and slipper socks. I hate having to get dressed if I’m just going to lounge about all day so i put on my comfiest clothes.
The Hello Kitty pjs are from primark and the slipper socks are also from primark.
I’ve recently got back into painting my nails as I’ve always been busy to take my old nail varnish and put a new coat on. But since getting new nail polishes i’ve been putting new colours on my nails each week. This week i went for these No7 Gel – look shine & No7 Nail effect. These are in the shades ‘Neptune’ & ‘Sun Rays’.
When I’m in bed i love reading when i get some free time, i love getting lost in a book but since being at uni I’ve found no time to read. So at the weekend or my day off i love reading a few chapters. My current favourite book is Fangirl, i got this at christmas and i haven’t put it down yet!
I also love magazines and i have a box full of old ones i can’t bear to throw away! (yup I’m a hoarder of old magazines) I love Vogue but being on a budget this is a treat when i have money, Vogue always reminds me of when i was in high school and i desperately wanted to read it but as it cost’s about £5 i couldn’t bring myself to buy it. Then while i was at my dads we went to the shop and he bought Vogue for me and i still have that magazine now as i was so happy to finally get it. I also love reading ‘Teen Vogue’ ‘Seventeen’ ‘Company’ & ‘Elle’.
Face mask’s are a great way to help you relax and also pamper yourself. When i have free time or when i go for a hot bubble bath i love putting on a face mask, these two are my favourite face mask’s and they always leave my face feeling so soft and brighter looking.
Bath bombs are bath fizzes i don’t use every time i have a bath, i like using them when I’m feeling stressed or ill to make myself feel better. I got a few bath bombs for christmas and i can’t wait to use them. Yesterday i used the Lush bath bomb my sister got me and i absolutely loved it! (review coming soon)
On my pamper days i use a hair mask to give my hair a break and to restore the damage that colouring my hair has done to it. The L’Oreal Elvive leaves my hair feeling softer and also a little thicker and the John Frieda leaves it feeling healthy and smells amazing. I have yet to try the Sanctuary hair mask, i got this off my mum for christmas and i will be doing a review on it soon.
When i have free time or I’m having a pamper day i love watching films and catching up with tv series.
Currently I’m loving Heroes, i watched this when it came out years ago and me and my family have been watching a few episodes every night and i can’t get enough of it!
I’m also loving 90210 as i used to watch it when my sister watched it and its on Netflix so I’ve been re watching it from the beginning.
Netflix has put Pretty Little Liars on and I’m so happy and me and my friend used to be obsessed with it and i watched every episode when it came out but recently I’ve had to watch it on online sites and could never find one that didn’t buffer or freeze so I left it. But now i can catch up on all the episodes i missed and get back into it again!
What do you do on your pamper/lazy days?
*The natural light wasn’t on my side while taking these photo’s so had to opt for a nice filter to make them look better. Getting natural light can be a pain to bloggers!*
Thank you for reading,
I’ve had my eye on this product for a few months but never bought it. After christmas I decided to treat myself and purchased it.
After having the No7 advent calendar I’ve really grown on No7 products and find that even though they are expensive they are gentle on the skin and also do wonders to it! I love face masks so I knew I was going to like this product.
The packaging is nice and I love the swirly effect of the product inside, the product moves up the bottle every time you use it so you get every last bit out. You only need to use one pump to cover your whole face which is amazing as normally you need to use a lot meaning the face mask does not last long.
The No7 mask dries quickly and you leave it on your face for 3-10 minutes, 3 for just a normal use or 10 for an intense face mask. This mask also smells so lovely and it’s easy to apply as it isn’t messy. After you have left it on for your decided time you wash it off with water and it leaves your skin feeling nice and adds the moisture back into your skin.
I used it for 10 minutes for the intense mask, it was so easy to apply and didn’t have a strong smell. After 10 minutes I washed it off my face with water and then patted dry with a towel. I was amazed with the results! It left my skin feeling smooth and looking a little brighter, it didn’t irritate my skin or leave it red. I plan on using this once a week as it made my skin look so much healthier.
I would defiantly purchase this product again! For the money you are paying you will get a lot of use out of this and get your moneys worth and more importantly have healthier skin.
You can pick this up in store or online here for £12.50.
Hello everyone, i hope you’ve all had a wonderful christmas!

In this advent you get 25 little No7 product’s, I’ve really enjoyed this advent as i normally have chocolate ones and this was a nice change. You get eyeshadows, eyeliners, moisturisers, nail varnishes and much more. I feel like the items picked out for this are good quality products that everyone can enjoy and most of the lip colours/nail varnishes suit everyone. For £35 you get so much and such a range of products, you get everything you need for a starter kit for makeup. The eyeshadows are pigmented and are wearable for day and night, the nail varnish’s are also pigmented and you have 5 colours to choose out of. You get an amazing face exfoliator which leaves your skin feeling so smooth and brighter looking, you also get such a good quality eye cream & face creams. The lip crayon colours you get are wearable everyday and are nice shades.
Overall i love these products as they are good quality and a good range of products. I’m very happy with my No7 Advent Calendar and i will be purchasing it again next year to see what they pick out.
*Please note i have 2 products missing, the one from day one i missed place and day 22 which i never got in the advent but No7 kindly gave me some points to repurchase it.*

No7 Stay Perfect – Dual Nail Colour
‘No7 Stay Perfect Dual Nail Colour is a special edition launch. The double ended nail product offers two great nail colours in one product and we’ve chose your favourite colours; Hot to Trot and Cheeky Chops!’
Today in the No7 advent calendar i got this ‘No7 Stay Perfect – Dual Nail Colour’ It came in the colours ‘Hot To Trot’ and Cheeky Chops’ These are such nice colours and names for nail polishes. Cheeky Chops will be great in the summer and Hot To Trot will be great in the winter/autumn season. What i like about this duo set is for £6.00 your getting two nail polish’s rather than spending £6.00 for just one. You can use these for nail art, you can use one on the nail and the other on the tip, or you can paint them all one colour and then paint one finger the other colour for the accent nail. The only bad thing about this nail duo are you need more than one coat as they are not very pigmented. On the plus side i really like these nail polishes and i think they are worth the money.
You can pick this up from boots for £6.00 here.
I hope you all had a great christmas and got everything you wanted

It is the perfect partner to our No7 Protect & Perfect Intense Beauty Serum, formulated to be used together to deliver even better results than the serum alone.’
Today i got the ‘No7 Intense Day Cream’ a few days ago i got the night cream and i loved the product as it was gentle on the skin and does the job of a night cream. So I’m happy that the day cream is also the same, it smells nice and isn’t too perfume smelling. It sinks into the skin fast and instantly makes you feel smooth. It does not leave the skin greasy and a little goes a long way. On the boots website this product is highly raved about which gives me high hopes its going to be an amazing product, i will use the day and night cream for a few weeks and tell you if it helped my skin.
On the site it tells you how to use this product:
1. Use every morning after cleansing, toning and applying No7 Protect & Perfect Intense Beauty Serum. Simply smooth into your face and neck with your fingertips, avoiding your eyes.
2. To give your skin an extra helping hand, use No7 Protect & Perfect Intense Beauty Serum and Night Cream just before bedtime
