Reviews

I know it will be an item in Aldi that can no longer be purchased but some of the  products inside are still available in store and online so I thought I would do mini reviews on the products inside. Hope you enjoy.

I bought myself the Lacura | Count Down to New Year advent calendar as a treat as I love Lacuras skincare range and it is a nice way to try some of their products out. I also bought one of these for my mum, sister and best friend. I think these make such a nice gift for yourself and others as you can get some nice skincare items to try out.

Mask

Lacura | Golden Glow Mask
For all skin types

Pro

This product smells amazing!
Gives skin a nice glow after using it.
applies to the skin easily and isn’t heavy on the skin.
Non greasy residue left after using
Doesn’t irate the skin

Cons
Does leave the skin very shimmery

Overall

This face mask is nice to use once or twice a month to give the skin a nice healthy glow! It smells lovely and doesn’t leave the skin greasy after use. The only downfall of this mask is that if you don’t wash it off fully you are left with a small layer of shimmer on the skin, which if you don’t like glitter I don’t recommend using this. But other then that I really like this face mask.

Unfortunately I cant find this product on the Aldi website and I think it might have been a one off in the Advent calendar so I am unable to link the item.

Moisturiser

Lacura | Gentle Facial Moisturiser
For all skin types

Pro

Smells nice, isn’t heavily scented.
Isnt heavy on the skin.
Not greasy.
Feels nice and light on the skin.
Drys quick.

Cons

None

Overall

Surprisingly I actually really like this product. It is very lightweight and non greasy on the skin. Sometimes moisturiser can feel heavy and greasy on the skin and just doesn’t feel nice throughout the day. Because its so lightweight and non greasy this allows your makeup to sit nicely on top of the moisturiser.  I’m hoping Aldi sell these instore as I would like to repurchase this once I’ve ran out of this one. I highly recommend this moisturiser.

This product is also not on the Aldi website but I am hoping they bring it out as a regular item in store.

Perfume

Lacura | No.10 Bitter Orange

Pros

Smells lovely
Lasts all day

Cons

Small bottle

Overall

I have never tried any of the perfumes that Aldi have brought out. I know a while ago they had a range of smells that were dupes of Jo Malone, this was a huge hit with people and got some good reviews. So I was pleased when I got a little perfume in with this advent calendar. It is quite a small bottle you get, but for the plus of this it can be kept in your handbag. At first when I smelled the perfume in the bottle it didn’t take my fancy. But after spraying it on myself i really liked the frangence!

It lasts all day and I wore it to work one day and through out the day I kept getting wiffs of the perfume! I will be purchasing some of their other perfumes to try out! Another good product in this Advent Calender.

There isn’t a link to just buy this perfume, you can buy it in a set and that’s for £14.99 and you can find it instores. Heres the link for it online.

Hot cloth

Lacura | Pink Hot Cloth Cleanser

Pros

Comes with muslin cloth.
Smells nice.
Removes even mascara
Gentle one the skin.
Removes all makeup and leaves skin feeling soft and cleansed.

Cons

None.

Overall

I have used the Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish and it was nice to see Aldi had brought out a much affordable dupe of this item. I also found it was amazing it came with a muslin cloth! It is so gentle on the skin and doesn’t irritate which is a plus! It removes all traces of makeup and leaves the skin feeling soft and refreshed. I find this a nice size to use for travel as its nice size to have. For the price this product is amazing and a fraction of some Hot Cloth Cleansers. You cant fault the qaulity or the price of this item!

This item is £3.99 and you can find it instore and online here.

toner

Lacura | Healthy Glow Retinol Toner

Pros

Lightweight.
Non greasy.
Leaves skin feel refreshed and toned.

Cons

None

Overall

This is a dupe of the Pixi Retinol Toner. It is such a nice skincare item to have without breaking the bank. In order to get a good toner, sometimes you have to spend a lot of money! So to be able to buy a nice toner that ticks all the boxes and does what it says it is amazing. I will be rebuying this item once I’ve finished this as I find it such a nice product that leaves you feeling refreshed. Sometimes some toners will leave you with a greasy like film on your skin, this doesn’t. It is a nice product to have in your skincare routine.

Unfortunately I cant find this on the Aldi website, but sometimes you do find them in stores so make sure you keep an eye out!

Oil

Lacura | Healthy Glow Rose Oil

Pros

Refreshing
Sinks into the skin quick.
Isn’t greasy

Cons

Heavy on the skin

Overall

I’ve seen this Rose range in Aldi while doing my shop and really wanted to try these out. But because I’m trying to use all the skincare products I already have before purchasing new ones I have never picked them up. So to get one in the Advent Calendar I was really happy. Sometimes I avoid oils as I can find them very heavy and greasy on my skin. This product is a little heavy on the skin as it is an oil but it doesn’t make your skin feel greasy! I tend to use this before bed or after I’ve done a face mask. I actually really like this product and i am going to try the rest of this range.

This product is no longer available but sometimes you can find it in stores.

Overall

This was such value for money! Even thought the items inside were smaller versions of their products, it allowed you to get a decent sized sample to use before you bought the bigger version, apart from the shimmer in the face mask I cant fault any of these products and they are all so amazing for their price and what they do. It is also a massive bonus that these items are not tested on animals, so a huge thumbs up to Aldi.

I’m hoping Aldi will bring out these items are full sized products to repurchase and that this year they will bring out another Advent Calendar as I think they are such good value for money and its nice to try out different items in their skincare range. And if your like me who preffers skincare over make up this is perfect for you!

You’ve got to give it to Aldi to bring out such amazing dupes that look and are the same as high end brands! It makes it so good for people to have nice luxery items that are so affordable.

IMG_4059

Lacura brought out a facial cleansing brush a while ago and when I went to buy it I couldn’t find it instore and it was sold out online. I’ve looked everywhere for a similar brush as it comes with all different brush heads and a body brush. On amazon I found a nice facial cleanser brush with a variety of brush heads, these were expensive and I was unsure on ordering it so left it in my basket.

Recently I went to Aldi to do my shop and picked up one of their weekly booklets, in their was there was a Visage Facial Cleanser and I was so happy to see they had brought out another one! It came in two different colours, white and silver and white and metallic rose. It has 5 brush heads and a body brush!

I went into the shop the day before it was brought out and was surprised to see a man stocking the Visage Facial Cleanser on the shop floor. I grabbed the rose gold one as I didn’t want to chance not buying it and it going out of stock again.

IMG_4057

Review

This is supposed to be a dupe of the Clarins Facial Brush but because I have never used that product I cant really say if its the same or better then that product.

First time I used it I used the normal brush head, I used it with my daily facial cleanser. I did expect the brush head to be really soft but it was a little rough on the skin, but after a while it felt a lot nicer on the skin, I was worried it might make my skin red but it made my skin feel so soft! For some reason I expected the brush head to rotate but it just vibrates. Which is good because it doesn’t lather the product loads and I find it works the product into the skin nicely.

The brush heads are small enough for you to get everywhere on your face, there is two brush heads for skin massage and one that helps with blood circulation which will be good to use with a sheet face mask on. The massage ones I find perfect for using on the face when you have a sheet mask on, it feels nice and massages the product into the skin.

It leaves skin feeling so soft and cleansed and I cant wait to use it daily to give my face deep clean and sometimes I find you still have makeup on your face after cleaning it. This brush works well into the skin and removes all traces of makeup while also giving your skin a nice deep cleanse.

The product isn’t loud, it sounds the same as an electric toothbrush so the noise isn’t annoying. It is very light weight and its great that it comes with a holder so you can store it nicely.

I’m looking forward to using the body brush as I think paired with an exfoliator especially on my legs it will help with stretch marks and getting rid of dead skin to help new skin growth which will allow stretch marks to fade.

IMG_4063

Overall.

I now have had this product since Christmas, in order to do a truthful review on the product I have used it every day using the different brush heads. For nearly 3 weeks I have cleansed my face using the soft brush head, I have used the body one after a shower and before moisturising, and used the massaging brush heads when I used facemask. All in all I have really liked this product from Aldi, I do wish that it would be chargeable but other then that I cant fault this product at all.

Pros;

  • Variety of brush heads, gives you options. Theres 6 brushes in total and a body brush.
  • Makes skin feel soft and clean!
  • It isnt harsh on the skin, doesnt make your skin go red.
  • Gives it a good deep clean
  • Has a brush holder so that it is easy to store.

Cons;

The two things I dislike on this are that it is battery operated and brushes can feel a little harsh on skin when you first use them, but that might be because im not used to using a facial cleanser brush. It would also be nice to have a little bag to keep all the attachaments in so they can all be stored together but for £12.99 you cant really beat the quality and usage of the product.

This product is £12.99 you can find it instore at Aldi or online here as they are still in stock!

IMG_3779.JPG

Aldi have brought out skincare products, Lacura is their skincare brand and they have a wide range of products and they are super affordable and work as well as leading brands. Some of the products they bring out are limited products that sell out quick! But some of their items they can be found for months after.

I came across this face mask as there has been a big hype around mud masks lately. As I do prefer sheet masks, once a month I do like to use a mud mask on my face as they really help to bring out all the impurities from the skin and make my face feel refreshed and clean! I like to use this mask with a face mask brush, it makes it so much easier to apply and is less messy!

Compared to other brands who sell face masks like this they can be ridicously priced and do the same thing, so for this only being £5.99 it is such a good product for the price and will save you a lot of money! Like most people I can not justify spending a fortune on skin care products no matter how good they! So finding affordable skin care products that actually work is amazing!

IMG_3788.JPG

Review

This face mask instantly starts to draw out grease and dirt from the skin. It helps with breakouts too. It does tingle when applied onto spots. It applies nicely onto the skin, you apply this onto dry skin and leave it for 5-10 minutes. After this time you then wash the mask off your skin with warm water. It does recommend you can use this 1-2 times a week but like I said previously I like to use a mud mask once a month for a deep cleanse as using 1-2 times a week I can find it really drying on the skin. After removing this face masks, my skin feels so soft and smooth. Also my pores seem to be reduced!

I wouldn’t recommend using this face mask if you have sensitive skin as it has small granuals in it that help to expoliate the skin. So when taking this face mask off it can be a little rough on the skin. Apart from that I have no negative things to say about this face mask! It is such a good face mask, it is super affordable and it does what it claims to do! The packing of this product is nice and simple.

All in all I really do recommend this face mask, it is perfect for a pamper day and it really helps your skin. It makes it feel refreshed and clean and gets rid of all the impurities on your skin. For the amount of product you get for the price is amazing!

IMG_3794.JPG

This face mask is from Aldi and is £5.99 and you can find it instores (in the middle isle)  or online here.

Have you tried this Lacura mud mask? Or any other of their products?

Maintaining Healthy Hair

IMG_3720.JPG

Maintaining Healthy Hair

Lots of people want thick or long hair or both and the best way to achieving this is by looking after your hair and ensuring that it is healthy and in its’ best condition. I have been researching ways of achieving this and have finally found products that work!

I have added three new products to my hair care routine to help achieve thick, long hair.  These products were recommended by @naomibouncyblows. Naomi is a hairdresser at a salon myself and my sister get our nails done at, she has recently started to do live videos on her instagram page where she does step by step videos on how she does curly blows and also gives hair care tips.

Like every girl I go through stages of wanting shorter hair when my hair is long and longer hair after I’ve cut it all off. Currently I’m back wanting to grow my hair back out so when I saw Naomi recommend two of these products to help hair growth and also to maintain healthy hair I decided to purchase them.

It is hard to find the perfect products for my hair as some products can make my hair go greasy quickly as I have fine hair. However, I have loved these and they have worked well on my hair.

img_3722.jpg

Wet Brush

The Wet Brush’s IntelliFlex® bristles are super thin, strong and flexible. These bristles will glide through any hair type combing out tangles effortlessly. The bristles’ flexibility enables protective and pain-free detangling while the SofTips™ on the very top of the bristles massage the scalp to stimulate circulation at the follicle. They are firm enough to comb through knots, yet flexible enough to be gentle on the scalp. Our IntelliFlex® bristles bounce back to their original form after each stroke eliminating all the hair breakage and pain that used to be associated with brushing your hair. The Wet Brush can be used on wet or dry hair and works on extensions and wigs.

Review

I used to use Tangle Teezers because my hair is very knotty, especially after washing it. I then read a blog post where someone had the Wet Brush and they said it was so much better on finer hair so I bought one from Boots. I absolutely love this brush! I find that it glides easily through my hair and gets rid of all the knots and is pain-free.

Recently the ends of the brush have started to fall off and I was in need of a new brush. I thought the price was too expensive for a hair brush but then I went into Homesense with my mum last week and found this Wet Brush for only £3.99!! It is normally £11.99 in Boots and other stores! So if you like this brush as much as I do, you can find them in Homesense for a bargain!  I do not get a lot of hair falling out when using this brush and it also helps get knots out quickly and pain free!

I picked mine up from Homesense for £3.99, I can’t post the online link as they do not have one so I will post a link for Boots here.

Review

I have never used this hair care brand before but @naomibouncyblows  recommended it. I picked it up from my local Tesco and thought I would try it out. I only picked up the shampoo as I don’t use condition. Because I have fine hair so I find conditioners tend to make my hair feels finer and also I can’t do anything with my hair because it goes too soft.

I have used this for 2 weeks now and I really like it!
It smells nice, it isn’t too strong or a perfume smell but it does leave your hair smelling lovely! It also lathers up so you feel like your hair is getting a good wash. I feel like it also really cleans my hair as sometimes you can get build up from products that you use on your hair, so I feel this really cleans them all out. It leaves my hair feeling so clean and isn’t heavy on my hair.

These do cost £7 which is a little pricy but I highly recommend it!

You can find them instores or online here.

Biotin

IMG_3802

I also bought Biotin tablets because they was recommended  by Naomi, you can buy these from Amazon and get a year worth of tablets which you take daily. As the dosage is high you only need to take 1 a day, which is fab if you don’t like to take tablets. They are also really small and easy to take. I take these once a day with a meal, which is recommended, and I’ve been taking them for a couple months now. I’ve actually noticed a big difference, not just with my hair but with my nails, they grow back so much faster then normal and they are not as brittle. My hair feels so much healthier and thicker too.

I do recommend these if your trying to grow your hair as it does help with the grown and health of your hair, but also helps your nails grow too! I will do another review on these when I’ve been taking them for half a year to show you the progress.

You can find these on Amazon and they are £16.97 and find it here.

Floral Scrunchie

IMG_3734.JPG

I picked up a floral scruchie because I have to tie my hair up for work and with some bobbles they can snap your hair. So I swapped bobbles for a scrunchie to avoid any unnecessary damage. Also If you follow Naomi you know that she wears these nightly to hold in her curly blows.

I picked mine up from Matalan and it was £4.00, you can find it instore on online here.

Have you tried out any of these products?
What are your favourite hair care products?

Also follow the lovely Naomi for hair care tips and hair videos!
You can find her instagram page here.

L’Oreal Elvive – Dream Lengths Shampoo | Review

IMG_3620.JPG

L’Oreal Elvive – Dream Lengths

L’Oreal Elvive brought out the Dream Lengths hair collection a while back. It is for achieving long hair without the breakage and spilt ends. A few years ago I ended up chopping my hip length hair to just below my shoulders as I killed the ends with bleaching it in my ombre phase.

Ever since then my hair has just not wanted to grow back to that length and I miss having long hair. While using the Lee Stafford Hair Growth collection it has helped my hair grow longer but my hair still gets so knotty and I still get a lot of spilt ends.

I came across this shampoo in Asda, I had seen the adverts for it and thought perfect, I will try this range as I really want my hip length hair back without the hassle.

Product Details

Dreaming of beautiful long hair but struggling to achieve your dream lengths?

The longer your hair gets, the more it goes through and the more damaged it becomes. Split ends appear and you feel like you need to trim your tips. What if  you could protect your hair and help reinforce its lengths?

Our creamy, caring shampoo is enriched with a cocktail of Keratin, Vitamins and Castor Oil. The formula cleanses and helps to reinforce the hair. It helps to protect against breakage and reduces the appearance of split ends.

How To Use

Apply to wet hair, massage into a lather and then rinse. Follow with L’Oreal Elvive Dream Lengths Long Hair Conditioner.

IMG_3622

Review

I have been using this product since March and have just finished the bottle.

I do not really like the smell of this product, it is not the nicest shampoo of their Elvive collection I have smelt but it does the job it says it will do so I can’t complain on the scent of this shampoo.

My hair is not as knotty as it normally is, I used to go out to work and come back home to find a knot had formed in the back of my hair and it was so painful and annoying to get these knots out, even using a wet brush. (Fine hair problems)

Since using this shampoo my hair is less knotty! I can even brush through it when its wet! Something I used to dread. It might not be the shampoo making my hair easy to comb through but its the product I’ve been using for months now so I am putting it down to that. So that is a huge plus to this shampoo as when your hair gets longer it gets more knotty. So this is a perfect shampoo to use if you have long hair.

I still get spilt ends but not as many which is good! So I can go that bit longer without a hair cut! Also my hair has is growing a lot better now, its gotten past the ‘I can’t do anything with my hair’ length stage! I think this is down to the shampoo plus it being paired with the Lee Stafford Hair Growth Range.

Overall

Overall I really like this shampoo and I would like to try out their other products in this range. I would buy this product again and use it while I am trying to achieve my Dream Length.

My friend Rachel has bought the conditioner and the hair mask so look out on her blog for her review of the product!

IMG_3621

This product is £2.99 and can find it in most shops and online here.

Boots currently has 3 for 2 on these hair products.

Have you tried any of the L’Oreal Elvive Dream Lengths products? What are your thoughts on them?

Nip+Fab – Glycolic Fix Radiance Shot | Review

IMG_3612.JPG

Nip & Fab – Glycolic Fix Radiance Shot

A couple of months ago I came across this Nip+Fab product, I have heard so much about this brand and a lot of good reviews so I decided to buy it and give it ago. I have never used any product like this before so I was excited to try it out.

Recently I have had very dry and dull looking skin, I think this is mainly due to the weather we have been having here in England. It has been so cold and my skin has just been suffering, no matter how much moisturiser I apply to my skin nothing seems to work.

So when I came across this and it said it helps makes you seen smoother, more radiant and reduces the appearance of pigmentation I thought it would try it as my skin needed some tlc.

IMG_3614IMG_3615

Product Details

Treat your skin to fast-fix radiance with this concentrate of luminosity. Exfoliating acids reveal a natural looking luminescent glow whilst aloe vera and allantoin care for the skin.

Illuminate your skin with fast-fix Glycolic Radiance Shot. Exfoliating acids, aloe vera and allantoin reveal an instantly brighter complexion whilst caring for the skin. With a beautiful pearlescent blue tint, when applied to the skin this concentrate turns to golden luminosity.

Contains:
glycolic acid: retextures and resurfaces the skin to reveal smoother, softer and radiant skin.
fruit acids: stimulates skin cell renewal, resulting in skin appearing younger and fresher.
amino acid derivatives: reduces the appearance of pigmentation.

How To Use

Unscrew cap + click once to retrieve then once to release product. Add 2 drops to your night moisturiser or serum. Can also be applied direct to skin as a targeted  concentrate.

IMG_3619.JPG

Review

I use this product everyday as I feel like my skin needs to look a bit more brighter and to help with the redness. I use this with my favourite moisturiser, I mix a two drops of the product to the moisturiser and apply it to my skin and then do my makeup routine as normal.

For the days I feel like my skin needs a bit more tlc or I’m having a pamper day I will just apply it straight to my skin as I think it helps more to be applied alone and directly to my skin.

It instantly gives my skin a lovely radiant glow and helps with the redness. The product also smells amazing! It does not leave the skin feeling tacky or greasy and it sinks into your skin instantly!

I am really happy with the product as it does what it says.

I found this Nip+Fab product in my local Home Sense store but I noticed Boots sell a lot of their products so you can find it in stores on online here.

Nip+Fab Glycolic Fix Radiance Shot is £19.95

I am going to try out more of their products as I find the brand good value for money and products that do what they say.

Have you tried any of the Nip+Fab products? What are your thoughts on them?

Boxclever Press- Family Life Book & Life Book | Review

Box Clever Press |Family Life Book & Life Book – Review

I found this brand of organisers last year, since then they have become my favourite organisers to help plan my weeks and keep myself more organised.

If you know me, you know I ALWAYS go on about these and have recommended them to everyone I know. I find them so handy and practical for any person.

Family Life Book

When I first purchased my ‘Family life planner’ it was by a company called Organised Mum. When I went to repurchase it, I couldn’t find it anywhere! I was so gutted as I found it such a good way to keep organised.

A while later I found out the company had changed its name to Box Clever Press and found their website. It has everything a stationary lover needs! From stickers to pens and a whole load of other things to help keep organised and make your organiser look nice. It is also affordable! Which is a big plus!

I normally buy the family life planners as because they have sections for each family member, I used these for things like ‘work’ so I can put my shifts in and then ‘appointments’ so I can keep up to date with my nail, hair and doctors appointments because I’m forever forgetting the time and date of them!

Before Christmas I found they had the Life Book with faux leather cover. I’ve had my eye on this one as I’ve had two Family Life Books and wanted an organiser for my desk as I carry the Family Life one with me all the time in my bag. I wanted one to help me keep up with blog posts and to jot down things I needed to do.

I put off buying it for weeks as it was coming up to Christmas and it is already an expensive month with present buying, so treating yourself is the last thing on your mind.

I was over the moon when at Christmas I opened my present off my boyfriend to find the olive-green faux leather cover! I opened it and it had the Life Book organiser I really wanted too! (Always talking about wanting it worked well.) It also came with stickers and an address book.

If you’re looking for a good organiser which has;

Weekly planners

L’Oreal Paris Skin Expert | Micellar Water – Review

IMG_3570.JPG

L’Oreal Paris Skin Expert| Micellar Water – Review

Micellar water has become so popular lately! It is the new way to take your makeup off easily without having to use tons of other products.
It helps soothe your skin and does not leave it feeling clogged.

Finding the perfect micellar water for you can be annoying as there are so many different brands with different micellar waters with many benefits. So you are stuck for choice and do not know which one will be the best for you.

My favourite up to now has been the Garnier SkinActive Micellar Water. I wrote a review on it a few months ago, if you would like to read my review on that the link is here.
I have been using this product for months and I have never had a problem with it.

I only decided to try a different product as sometimes my skin can get used to using the same product and I also like to switch things up and try new things to compare them.

IMG_3578

Product Details

The L’Oreal Paris Laboratories have created a Micellar Water, made with purified water from an advanced purification process, and combined micelles that capture impurities, for effective cleansing which is gentle on sensitive skin.

Removes make-up dissolves make-up from the face, eyes and lips in one gentle action, without rubbing or rinsing.
Cleanses delicately captures impurities.
Soothes: Calms skin and prevents irritation.

How To Use;

1. Morning and evening, apply a generous amount to a cotton pad.
2. On dry skin, wipe pad all over the face, no need to rub or rinse.
3. Press gently to lashes, lids and lips and simply sweep away.

PicMonkey Collage-10Review

The first thing I noticed when I first used this was that it had no smell to it, this is great as you can not smell any perfume to the product so you know its going to be gentle on your skin.

I found it easily removed my makeup without me using multiple cotton pads to remove the access makeup off my skin. The only thing that I have found with micellar water is that you sometimes need to use another cotton pad on your eyes as some mascara is a pain to remove!

My skin also feels so nourished and hydrated after using this and it does not feel sticky or tight. I know that some micellar waters can leave you skin feeling like you have a thin layer of residue left over and this can make your skin feel sticky. But this does not leave that, it just makes your skin feel amazing after taking your makeup off.

I have only been using this product for 14 days but I have really like this product and I find it removes your makeup without making your skin feel in bad condition.

Packaging

The packing of this product is nice and simple. It has all the information you need to know on the back of the bottle. It is also a big bottle that you know is going to last you a while before you need to repurchase it.

Overall

Overall I think this product is worth its money and it a very good way of removing your makeup without being harsh on your skin or leaving it feeling in a bad condition. I highly recommend this product if you are after a micellar water.

This product was £3.99 in Asda on offer and you can find it online here.

What is your favourite micellar water?

Hair Care For Coloured Hair | Mini Reviews

Hair Care For Coloured Hair

IMG_3553.JPG

When you get your hair dyed either at home or at the hairdressers, you do not want your hair fading quickly or using products that strip out your hair colour.

Over the years of having my hair dyed at home and at the hairdressers, I have finally found products that keep my hair shiny and bright and maintains the colour.

As you can see from the image above all these products are from the L’Oreal range. I have used these products for around 2 years now and I swear by these products.

L’Oreal Elvive Colour Protect | Caring Shampoo

PicMonkey Collage-6

The science of coloured hair

Repeated washing, sun exposure, pollution and external aggressions can make coloured hair more sensitive. With time colour fades, losing its shine and intensity.

1 Maintains Colour Intensity: The new Colour-Seal Elixir™ has been developed to intensively condition, to help protect colour from fading and preserve its intensity.
2 Protects Hair: The formula enriched with UVA/UVB Filters protects coloured hair from external aggressions. Hair looks full of life.
3 Prolongs Radiance: The formula with Concentrated Nourishment intensely nourishes the hair and smoothes its surface. Shine is revived and radiance is
prolonged.

Proven results

Intense, radiant colour: 80% of colour radiance maintained after 28 washes

Review

This shampoo is so light on my hair and the only time I see my hair dye in the water is when I was my hair the first time after it has been dyed, after that when I wash my hair it does not strip any colour from my hair.

The shampoo also smells amazing and keeps my hair looking so shiny and healthy! I have been using this shampoo for nearly two years as it is the only shampoo I find that does not strip my hair or leave it looking dull.

This product is £2.50 and you can find it online here.

Review

I thought I would pick this up as they had a 3 for 2 offer on the L’Oreal Colour Protect range, I thought I would try this as I curl my hair a lot for work and my ends were getting a little dry and not looking the best. After washing my hair I like to spray this on the ends of my hair and then use the hair dryer on it.

Because I do not actually use conditioner on my hair as I feel like it makes my hair far too soft and even thinner looking I find this great to use on days I feel like my hair needs a little TLC without having to use conditioner as it is not as heavy as using conditioner but still has the same benefits.

This product is £4.99 and you can find it online here.

Lasting colour vibrancy – 48H hold

Review

As I said previously my hair is quite fine and does not hold curls in my hair for a long time, I picked this up as it is part of the colour protect range. I’ve only been using this for 4 months but I find it gives my hair so much texture and hold without it going hard in my hair like some hair mousse do.

I like to put some on my hair and then run it though the ends of my hair and then blow dry and then style my hair. It keeps the curls in place for so much longer and also keeps my hair looking very volumized!

I only use this product once a week.

This product is £1.73 and you can find it online here.

Review

As you have probably read a lot in my hair reviews on my blog, I LOVE this product. It is a hair product I use every time I wash my hair and that I swear by.

I only use two pumps of this and I like to run it through my hair and then I often leave it to air dry. I find it keeps my hair looking so shiny and feeling so soft and holds the colour in. I’ve noticed my hair does not look or feel dry when I have used this and because I have thin hair, it often knots a lot but when I used this product it helps get the knots out better and makes it easier to brush.

I rave about this product all the time to everyone as I think its such an amazing hair care product for normal or coloured hair.
This is the most expensive product but it is worth the money and lasts for a good few months before you need to buy a new one.

This product is £8.00 and you can find it online here.

So there’s my 4 favourite hair care products for coloured hair.
