Little Letters by El

My friend has her own small business, she makes personalised letters that can be bought as either gifts or for yourself.
Since she started making them, I have had my eye on them as they always look so nice and perfect for either a gift for someones birthday or for yourself as decoration in your bedroom. When I turned 21 she made me a floral print K and I was so happy with my hand made gift.

I think Little Letters by El is such a unique gift idea and she also makes them in different fabric prints and they are also affordable.

Even the bag it comes packaged in is adorable!

Ellie even adds a personalised tag which I think is a nice touch to the gift.

The personalised letter adds a nice touch to you bedroom. They are also so detailed and well made, I also love the little flower that she has made and added to the K as she knows I love flowers so it is a nice touch to my personalised letter.

These letters can be personalised how ever you want and they are only £8 each, If you are interested in buying one email Ellie at little.letters.by.el@gmail.com. In the email make sure you tell her which letter you want, what print and the colour.

November Favourites

nov

nov2

This is my first ever favourites blog post so I thought I’d but a couple of different items in.

Non Beauty items:

Ketchup Clouds – Annabel Pitcher
This book is so easy to get into and it keeps you thinking and guessing throughout, I’ve enjoyed reading this snuggled in bed in my free time.
Waterstones £6.99

Floral Notepad – Liberty
I love anything floral and i got this off my boyfriend for our 3 years and decided to use it to write all my blog post ideas in. It’s from waterstones and they have so many different patterns!

Vanilla Candle
I picked this up when i first moved into my uni house and i got it from pound stretcher for around £4! I’ve only started lighting it and it fills the room with such a nice smell.

Beauty Products:

Champneys – Gentle Conditioning Toner
I absolutely love this toner and its so gentle on the skin and makes your face feel so smooth! I’ve only just turned back to use it recently as I’ve been using my Tea Tree Toner from Lush. It smells so nice and you only need one cotton pad to tone your whole face.
You can pick this up from boots for £7.50

Umberto Giannini – Mend My Hair
My hair has been so damaged lately at the ends and I’ve been using this after washing my hair and it’s helping my spilt ends look less horrible. I use two pumps after washing my hair and spread it evenly throughout my ends then i blow dry.
You can pick this up from boots for £7.99

L’Oreal Elvive – Extraordinary Oil
This product is just WOW! My sister lent it to me as my ends are so badly damaged and after one use my hair feels and looks so much nicer! I’m doing a little review on this product as I’ve been raving about it since i tried it out so keep a look out for that.
You can pick this up from boots for £8.49

Nails Inc – Jermyn
Since it’s getting colder and i love wearing brown nail varnishes. This is my go to brown nail varnish as its so pretty and goes with everything.
You can pick this up from boots for £11.00

If you can’t tell i buy a lot of things from boots because they always have amazing deals on, if you can’t find them in boots i recommend Superdrug or Amazon as they always have them for cheaper or around the same price.

Bedroom Decor

6

I’ve currently just redecorated my bedroom. I painted my whole room in the paint Teal Touch by Dulex, it looks like a dark paint but when the sun shines on it it looks so bright and at night it isn’t too dark and looks an amazing colour. I needed a change in my life so I thought redecorating my room and buying new furniture would help this. As I live at uni I hardly stay in my room at my mums so when I come home I like it to be cosy and homely so I can relax while away from uni work.

IMG_0367

I can’t find it on B&Q but i found this one similar on homebase, its for the bathroom but its the exact colour as the one i used to paint my bedroom.
You can find it here.

My bedding is reversible on one side is florals on the other is patchwork. I bought this from morrisons.

IMG_0372

I got my bedside tables on offer for £40 which I thought was a bargain for 2 and they are so nice and look amazing at the side of my bed. On one I put my iPod Dock and a black candle holder with birds on. I bought this from matalan around Christmas. I keep my 3 favourite books on the shelf of this bedside table.

IMG_0370

On the other bedside table I have my touch lamp my mum bought me from Argos and a black clock with birds on also from matalan. I also keep my Vouge magazines and a floral tin my mum got me for Christmas on the shelf beneath the draw.

IMG_0371

Above my bed i have this beautiful canvas. I bought this in the sale from matalan.

IMG_0374

I’ve been looking for a bed frame like this for years and finally found it in Tesco

IMG_0768
(The canvas looks very wonky here and it’s annoying me, i will straighten it when i next get home! ahah )

At the end of my bed i have a box i use to store thing in. I use my primary throw and i like to keep the books I’m reading on it.

*I had to redo this post as my pictures got deleted so i added some recent photo’s of my bedroom and i will do a bigger bedroom decor post when I’m next home for you.*
