Deep Cleanse Your Hair | TRESemme Review

IMG_2703

Your hair goes through a lot. You apply numerous amounts of products to it, you wash it with shampoo and conditioner that can weigh it down.
So every once a week/month your hair deserves a deep cleanse.
Just make sure after you use these products you also use a shampoo that is moisturising and helps replenish your hair as these shampoos can strip your hair from them while you use them to strip build up of oils and products.

Also if you dye your hair this shampoo can strip some colour out of it.

What Is A Deep Cleanse?
A deep cleanse for you hair is like a deep cleanse for your face. It helps remove all the build up and daily grime from your hair.
So all the product build up that may be weighing your hair down is washed away and your hair is left product free.

Why Use Deep Cleansing Shampoo?

Professional quality formula clarifies hair to remove build up and residues restoring your hair’s natural vitality. This multi-vitamin formula, gentle enough for daily use, intensely purifies to give that salon fresh feeling.

TRESemme Cleanse & Renew Shampoo

I spent ages looking online and in shops to try to find a good deep clean shampoo.
I came across the TRESemme shampoo in SuperDrug and decided to give it a go. It comes in this HUGE bottle which will get a lot of use out as I won’t be using it every day.
I like to use it once a month to make sure my hair gets a really good deep clean and all the product build gets removed.
After I had applied it to my hair and was rinsing it out my hair already felt so much nicer and less weight down.

When I first used this shampoo I noticed how much it lathers into your hair, so a small amount goes a long way.
It smells like the typical TRESemme product so the smell isn’t overpowering or strong.
I did google reviews on this product before using it and I found so many positive reviews.

I will be trying out other deep cleansing hair shampoos but up to know, TRESemme is my favourite as it works so well and it’s also affordable.

If you have oily hair its a good shampoo for an everyday use, just make sure you have a good conditioner to pair with it.

Hair Products For Stronger, Healthier Hair | 2015

IMG_2343

After trying out a lot of different shampoo’s and hair masks I have finally found 3 products that have done wonders to my hair. These three products have made my hair look and feel stronger and more thicker.

Around 2 months ago I bleached my hair from black to a reddish brown. This took bleaching my hair 3 times, dying it once and 3 and a half hours of sitting in a chair. After all this my hair as you can imagine was damaged and weak so for the past two months I have used a hair mask once a week.

The other day I got my roots touched up and my hair dresser said how much better my hair looked and felt, this was down to these three products that I can’t live without.

Hair Mask

Hair Mask | Aussie 3 Minute Miracle

‘Our unique formula, with Australian Balm Mint, helps mend split ends and roughened cuticles. It helps transform dry, damaged hair into manageable and shiny locks in just 3 minutes. Australian Balm Mint. This nourishing treatment gets to work fast on damaged hair, repairing and smoothing rough cuticles, restoring manageability and shine.’

The day after I had my hair bleached and dyed I went to Asda and picked up a hair mask. I was recommended this and it has to be the best hair mask I have tried!

Let me just say it smells AMAZING!

I have used Aussie shampoo’s and I loved the smell of those too. I have never tried their hair masks so I didn’t really know what to expect from this mask. After the first use my hair already felt in a better condition and also smelt amazing! After using it for a around 5 weeks now my hair feels so much stronger and looks a lot more healthier.

I like to use it once a week. I run it through my hair making sure all my hair has the product on, then tie my hair up and leave it for a good 10-20 minutes then I rinse it all out.

The only downside of this product is the packaging. It comes in a bottle where you squeeze it to come out like many other hair products but this does not have a lid. Which means it is not ideal for traveling, I travel from my house to my dads and to uni and I like to take this mask with me but it means being extra careful where I put it incase it spills in my bag or case.

You can pick this up in most shops, you can also find it online here.
This product is £4.99.

If you are like me and have fine hair and envy anyone who has thick luscious hair this post might help you achieve being one step closer to getting thicker hair without having to break the piggy bank for expensive extensions.

These are hair products that I’ve used for months and have worked the best to help achieve thicker looking and feeling hair. I have some affordable one’s and one that is a little pricy but works amazingly.

Mane ‘N Tail Shampoo & Conditioner

Mane ‘N Tail was originally made for horses hair. Don’t be put off using this product because it also actually helps hair grow faster. (I will be doing a review on this) I feel like this product really helps make hair feel thicker and it also strengthens hair. I use this every other day on my hair and it has a nice smell to it and the smell lingers hours after you have washed your hair. Ive been using this for a little over a year and i can tell a huge difference in my hair, it has helped my spilt ends and my hair always looks clean and shiny.

I purchased this product on amazon as it doesn’t sell in the UK,it’s £7.09 for both shampoo and conditioner 355ml.

L’Oreal: Elvive Fibrology

This is a very recent hair thickening product that L’Oreal has brought out. It has the shampoo and conditioner, hair mask and the thickness booster. Ive used the hair mask as a treatment after I’ve dyed my hair and when my hair starts to feel dry. I use the Shampoo in alternative with the Mane ‘N Tail shampoo. I really like the smell to these products as the smell is strong enough for you to smell it on your hair. Your supposed to use the thickness booster with conditioner but i don’t use conditioner so i just add it to my shampoo and live it a little longer in my hair. I find these products do the job, not as much as the Mane ‘N Tail but you can feel a difference and it makes your hair look less fine and limp looking.

I purchased these from boots, i got them when there was an offer. The Shampoo is £2.99 The thickness booster is £5.99 which i find a little expensive for the amount you get and the thickening mask is £5.09.

Lush: Big Sea Salt Shampoo

I absolutely love this product and i defiantly would recommend it to people who have fine hair. I use this every other time i wash my hair instead of Mane ‘n Tail or the Elvive. I take a little in my hand and rub it between my palms i then spread it over my head and massage it into my hair, i leave it on for a little bit and then i wash it all out. It smells nice and it makes my hair feel so volumized and thicker! I don’t use this every time i wash my hair as it can be quite drying to my hair. This is one of the best products I’ve purchased for my hair as it makes it actually look and feel thicker and I’ve noticed such a difference using this product. Ive had this for a few months now and it never fails me.

I purchased this from Lush for £12.25 it’s a lot of money for how much you get but i really recommend it as it does the job.

John Frieda: Luxurious Volume Thickening Mousse

I’ve tried my fair share of thickening mousses, and some have made my hair feel greasy or have dried funny and left my hair feeling hard. I took a chance and picked this up and i really like it. I take a small amount of the mousse into my hands then i put half into my roots and the rest through my hair, i then flip my hair upside down and blow dry it to make sure all the product is dry. It gives me volume and some thickness and doesn’t make my hair feel sticky or clump up my hair.

I purchased this from boots and it’s £4.99

John Frieda: Root Booster

I use this before i use the mousse, i spray it on my roots flip my hair up and then blow dry it. It doesn’t leave your hair feeling sticky and it actually helps boost your roots a bit. Its £5.79 from boots.

I hope this post helps with anyone who has fine hair and are trying to achieve getting thicker looking hair. Some of the products are affordable if you are on a budget. If you would like more of a review before you purchase any of these products feel free to ask.
