November Favourites

This is my first ever favourites blog post so I thought I’d but a couple of different items in.

Non Beauty items:

Ketchup Clouds – Annabel Pitcher
This book is so easy to get into and it keeps you thinking and guessing throughout, I’ve enjoyed reading this snuggled in bed in my free time.
Waterstones £6.99

Floral Notepad – Liberty
I love anything floral and i got this off my boyfriend for our 3 years and decided to use it to write all my blog post ideas in. It’s from waterstones and they have so many different patterns!

Vanilla Candle
I picked this up when i first moved into my uni house and i got it from pound stretcher for around £4! I’ve only started lighting it and it fills the room with such a nice smell.

Beauty Products:

Champneys – Gentle Conditioning Toner
I absolutely love this toner and its so gentle on the skin and makes your face feel so smooth! I’ve only just turned back to use it recently as I’ve been using my Tea Tree Toner from Lush. It smells so nice and you only need one cotton pad to tone your whole face.
You can pick this up from boots for £7.50

Umberto Giannini – Mend My Hair
My hair has been so damaged lately at the ends and I’ve been using this after washing my hair and it’s helping my spilt ends look less horrible. I use two pumps after washing my hair and spread it evenly throughout my ends then i blow dry.
You can pick this up from boots for £7.99

L’Oreal Elvive – Extraordinary Oil
This product is just WOW! My sister lent it to me as my ends are so badly damaged and after one use my hair feels and looks so much nicer! I’m doing a little review on this product as I’ve been raving about it since i tried it out so keep a look out for that.
You can pick this up from boots for £8.49

Nails Inc – Jermyn
Since it’s getting colder and i love wearing brown nail varnishes. This is my go to brown nail varnish as its so pretty and goes with everything.
You can pick this up from boots for £11.00

If you can’t tell i buy a lot of things from boots because they always have amazing deals on, if you can’t find them in boots i recommend Superdrug or Amazon as they always have them for cheaper or around the same price.

Morning Routine

morning routine

I don’t wear much makeup and i use different face washes/ moisturisers & toners so this is what I’m currently using at the moment as i tend to change my skin care routine as the weather changes.

I use this face wash in the morning as my other scrub has ran out and i needed a new one, it also does the job and my my skin feel fresh and clean.

I decided to try this Asda Young Skin as i needed a new moisturiser as i needed a new one and it was on offer. It does the job and is a cheap good moisturiser if you are on a budget.

I like to use the L’Oreal skin perfection on my face before i use the Tea Tree Toner as it gets rid of the dirt that your face wash didn’t get and helps with spots.

I love this Tea Tree Toner from Lush and use it every day, you can either spray it on your face or use a cotton pad to apply it.

I purchased the Real Techniques Stippling Brush and i absolutely love it. It’s so soft on your face and put the right amount of product from the powder onto your face. They are pricy but if you wear makeup everyday its a good investment.

I sometimes like to fill my eyebrows in as i have sparse brows and it makes them appear a little thicker. I use the Seventeen Brows That it was around £4 from super drug when i bought it.

I use the Maybelline Fit Me Powder as it gives me the right amount of coverage.

I love this Red Jeans scent and use it everyday.

I’m so happy its started to get cold and feel like winter as i can finally break out the brown nail polishes! My favourite one is this Nails inc inspired by Diet Coke.

My Nail Polish Collection & How I Store Them

I don’t have a very large collection of nail polishes but the ones i do own are my favourite colours and brands.

I couple months ago i bought a Jewellery stand from urban outfitters and i use this to store all my nails polishes as i don’t have a big collection and it fits them all in perfectly. This stand is perfect for any small collection of things you want to put on show. I like how its shaped as half of a birdcage as i love those kinds of decorations as they are simple but eye catching.

Urban Outfitters Birdcage £12

My Nail Polishes

I saw these in the pound shop and thought i’d try them out, for £1 thats a bargain! They are Gel nail polishes and i got them in the shades ‘Blue Bling’ ‘Orchid’ and ‘Raspberry’. I would recommend using a top coat with these as they chip easily but apart from that the colours are very pigmented and it gives a nice effect on your nails.

I got these in a set for my birthday from Next and they are a french nail manicure set. These nail polishes are so nice and come out in such colours and don’t chip. I’m sorry i don’t know the set name for these as i threw the box they came in away but I’m sure they still have this set somewhere in Next.

Nails Inc are one of my favourite brands of nail polishes as they are very pigmented and last ages before they start to chip. My favourite colours are the Kate Spade Black and the Diet Coke inspired one in ‘London’. I use this for the fall as i love browns and blacks as they go with just about anything. The two other shades are ‘Instyle Bluebell’ and ‘Jermyn Street’

One of my other favourite brands are the Barry M. My favourite ones of my little collect are ‘Amethyst Glitter’ Which goes with practically any nail varnish and is such a pretty colour and ‘Mint Green’ ‘Guava’ ‘Caramel’ and ‘Blueberry’. The colours are so bright and look nice and shiny.

I decided to try the Revlon nail varnish because i heard it doesn’t have the strong smell that comes with the nail varnish. But when i tried it, it didn’t smell any different to my other nail varnishes which was a bit disappointing. The colour is very bright and doesn’t chip so thats a plus.

This 17 Magnetised nail polish is my favourite nail polish ever! i love the way it turns out after you use the magnet on the top and it lasts ages. I got mine in the ‘Grey’ colour but they are a few others to choose from.

My mum bought me this Collection Bedazzled nail effect in the colour ‘Glittersweet’ as i wanted a glitter nail polish for ages and couldn’t find one i liked. I like how small the glitter is as you can wear it lightly over other colours and it doesn’t contrast with them.

I know my collection isn’t that big but i have a little variety of nail polishes, i will do a tester of each one and adding it to the blog soon if that will help you if you like the look of any of these.
